Menjadi Guru yang Dirindukan Anak-anak

“Dipundakmu anak negeri bertumpu” tidaklah berlebihan, jika kalimat ini sebagai pembuka dalam makalah ini. Sebab, dari sosok seorang gurulah peserta didik membayangkan masa depannya, mencanangkan sebuah impian hidupnya, dan melihat jauh ke angkasa, terbang setinggi langit laksana anak panah yang lepas dari busurnya. Masa depan bangsa ini ditentukan oleh kader-kader muda bangsa, sedangkan penanggung jawab utama masa depan mereka berada di pundak guru. Sebab guru yang langsung berinteraksi dengan peserta didik dalam membentuk kepribadian, memberikan pemahaman, mengembangkan imajinasi dan cita-cita, membangkitkan semangat dan menggerakan kekuatan mereka.
